Wow, the financial situation around here really exploded. Trying to get everything worked out, but man....if we aren't completely screwed, we're danged close. Still trying to figure it out right now, but I'd better get it figured out soon - we may have to start taking in lodgers at this rate. Ideally ones that pay rent, unlike some of our previous lodgers. My car may be messing up, too, which just compounds the problem. So far so good, but it's a risky thing. I don't even want to get into some of the other things going on, it's a disaster.

But enough about convenient abstractions that don't really perfectly address the cooperative needs of a growing specialist society - you're all breathlessly wondering about my writing. The long and short of it is that I haven't really been doing any. Oh, I meant to - and I still mean to - but this last week laid me low, and the upcoming one looks to be tricky as well. You folks had better keep your fingers crossed for us out here...I may have to eat the cat. :)
