Cob building is fascinating to me. The ability for an individual to make their own home almost from scratch with a little creativity and a truckload of elbow grease is amazing to me. The fact that it can be done for as little as two dollars a square foot is even better. Granted, the houses generally look weird, but that's a plus if you ask me. :) Anyway, if a seventy year old woman can build herself a house out of the stuff by herself, so can you, and cheaply...that's inspiring to me.
